The next VBV Board meeting will be held remotely via Zoom on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.  Jim Spore, President and CEO of ReInvent Hampton Roads and former Virginia Beach City Manager, will be our guest to discuss efforts to position Hampton Roads as the wind energy supply chain hub on the East Coast,  GoVa initiatives and priorities, workforce development strategies, economic development site preparation and other such programs under the ReInvent umbrella.  We have also asked him to share his assessment of the current economic challenges presented by the pandemic and how Virginia Beach city government, elected officials and the business community can best collaborate toward recovery.  Please refer to the e-mail and/or calendar notice for meeting log/call in details.
