Joint VBV/GNC Resiliency Task Force Meeting
02/22/23 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
There will be a Joint VBV/GNC Resiliency Task Force meeting held on Wednesday, February 22 at 8:30 a.m. at Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, 17th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Ben McFarlane, HRPDC, will be our guest speaker and discuss regional efforts towards managing sea level rise/recurrent flooding from the funding and logistics perspective as well as initiatives within the region. He will share information regarding successful state and federal programs leveraged by localities, where there are opportunities for improvement, and what impediments need to be overcome as well as how VBV/GNC might strengthen and further a “regional approach” to address mitigation.
If you can attend, please let us know by accepting the calendar invitation. If you are unsure of your schedule currently but hope to attend, please mark your response as tentative. We are making efforts to provide accurate attendance numbers to both the speakers and meeting space providers. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
