Virginia Beach Vision will hold a special meeting on Friday, November 1 at 8:30 a.m.  at Virginia Beach Economic Development, Town Center, 4525 Main Street, 7th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 with Deputy City Manager Ron Williams and Venture Realty’s Project Manager Mike Culpepper.  Both will be on hand to answer any questions Vision members may have regarding the specifics of the project.  Vision will then discuss the formation and adoption of a formal position to be sent to the full Board for adoption.  President Paul Merritt will be at the project’s public hearing, scheduled for Tuesday evening, November 12^th to provide the formal position statement and testimony at the hearing on behalf of Vision.

Virginia Beach Vision previously adopted a position supporting, in principle, the Atlantic Park (formerly known as The Wave Project).  At that time we did not have sufficient project details to endorse the public-private partnership with the city.  Those details are now available and will be the focus of our meeting on November 1.
