Following their report, Mr. Gilbert “Gil” T. Bland, President & CEO, Urban League of Hampton Roads will present on DEI from multiple viewpoints including that of an employer, consumer, workforce perspective and census demographic perspective. He will also speak from quality of community perspective to have inclusion and to equity and the various perspectives of the definition. Joint VBV/GNC Resiliency Meeting (in person / on site tour)

The Joint VBV / GNC Resiliency Task Force will meet on Wednesday, May 25 at 9:00 a.m. on the site of the Ohio Creek Watershed Project in Norfolk.  The MEB Group is the developer of the project and will have representatives on hand to discuss the project’s dynamics and to answer questions. Our task force has discussed resiliency funding and our cities and state’s plans for addressing this challenge.  Our visit to the Ohio Creek project will be a unique opportunity to see one of the resulting projects.
