The City Visioning Task Force will meet on Thursday, July 17thth at 8:30 a.m. in the offices of Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, Suite 1700, Virginia Beach. This meeting will focus on the City’s election system. Council Member Stacy Cummings will be joining us to share his insights and engage in discussion with the group. We have made all members of City Council aware of this meeting, and they are welcome to join or schedule a follow-up meeting if preferred.

The City Visioning Task Force, chaired by Jim Spore, will meet on Thursday, October 16thth at 11:30 a.m. in the offices of Hourigan, 4429 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach. This meeting will be a review and discussion of the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan 2040, where we will discuss a potential position statement and recommendations from Virginia Beach Vision. The Housing Task Force will meet on Tuesday, October 28th from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the offices of Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, Suite 1700, Virginia Beach. The Housing Task Force will meet to discuss solutions and ideas for each of the following five focus areas: Neighborhood Improvement Strategies Supply of New Product Supply of Existing Product Consumer Affordability Special Needs/Circumstances A white paper summarizing the discussions and recommendations from each meeting will be produced at the end of the year.
