The new Education Task Force will meet for the first time on Monday, February 12th at 8:30 a.m. in the offices of Hourigan Construction (same building as Fulton Bank), 4429 Bonney Road, Suite 200, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.

The Affordable Housing Task Force will meet on Thursday, February 15th at 3:30 p.m. in the Nexsen Room, 4525 Main Street, 14th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.  Ruth Hill, Director, Dept. of Housing and Neighborhood Development, City of Virginia Beach will be our guest speaker. She will discuss the City/VT Housing Study and the recommendations to City Council.

The Resort Development Task Force will meet on Wednesday, February 21st at 8:30 a.m. in the Atlantic Room at Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, 17th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.  Hunter Anderson, Budget and Policy Analyst II, City of Virginia Beach will be our guest speaker. He will provide a briefing on the administration, project funding, and future direction of the TIP.

The City Visioning Task Force will meet on Friday, March 8th at 8:30 a.m. in the Clark Room, 4525 Main Street, 14th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.  Kevin Chatellier, Director, Budget & Management Services, City of Virginia Beach will be our guest speaker. He will provide a briefing on the city’s budget, priorities, and challenges.

Following the meeting there will be an informal social networking opportunity from 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Please plan to stay after if your schedule allows!
