Business Development Task Force members:

The task force will meet on Wednesday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m. in the offices of Hourigan Construction (in the Fulton Bank Building), 4429 Bonney Road, Suite 200.

On April 30, Virginia Beach City Council will vote on whether to allow for collective bargaining. Public hearings are currently being conducted.  At next Wednesday’s task force meeting we will have Jimmy Wood, a labor and employment attorney with Willcox Savage, give us a briefing on collective bargaining.  VB Vision does not have a formal position on the issue at present.  The task force will need to determine if a position should be developed and communicated to city council.
