The next Business Development Task Force meeting will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Williams Mullen – Town Center, 222 Central Park Avenue, 17^th floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Virginia Wesleyan University, at the request of the city, has conducted an impact study on the proposed Kitty Hawk Wind project landing at Sandbridge. That study addresses the environmental and health concerns that have been raised by those opposing the project.  Please click here to review the report prior to our meeting.

At the meeting, the task force will consider what position, if any, should be recommended to the Vision Board of Directors for a formal vote. Ashley McLeod and additional team representatives with the Kitty Hawk Wind Project – Avangrid Renewables will be in attendance to answer questions and provide additional detail as may be needed.
