There will be a Joint Resiliency Task Force Meeting on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Ave., 17^th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Brian Ballard, AICP, Regional Community Plans Liaison Officer for the U.S. Navy, will brief the task force on the Navy’s efforts to combat sea level rise and recurrent flooding in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. He will share information on the funding needed and planned, coordination efforts with our two cities, and how we, the business community, can assist in supporting the Navy’s efforts via local, regional or state prioritization and/or funding.
