Andrew Breitenberg and Matt Breitenberg, Straight Path Management, will first share an overview of the discussions had at the VBV Board Retreat that was held on March 15th. Following their report, Mr. Gilbert “Gil” T. Bland, President & CEO, Urban League of Hampton Roads will present on DEI from multiple viewpoints including that of an employer, consumer, workforce perspective and census demographic perspective. He will also speak from quality of community perspective to have inclusion and to equity and the various perspectives of the definition. Plan Task Force meeting on Wednesday, May 4th at 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at CLARKNEXSEN, 4525 Main Street, Suite 1400, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.  The purpose will be to have a discussion of the key elements of the existing Comp. Plan and our visioning of elements that should be addressed in the new plan such as: Should the green line be retained, or should there be some development plan for the southern part of the city now that the North end is built out?
