The City Visioning Task Force will meet on Thursday, July 17thth at 8:30 a.m. in the offices of Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, Suite 1700, Virginia Beach. This meeting will focus on the City’s election system. Council Member Stacy Cummings will be joining us to share his insights and engage in discussion with the group. We have made all members of City Council aware of this meeting, and they are welcome to join or schedule a follow-up meeting if preferred.

The Resort Development & Safety Task Force will meet on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Towne Bank conference room, on the 5th floor of the Towne Bank Building at 600 22nd Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Join us for an update from Clay Dills, who is leading the team behind the redevelopment of Rudee Park. Clay will provide the Resort Development & Safety Task Force with a project overview, including current status, timeline, and next steps. This is a great opportunity to better understand how the project is progressing and what it means for the future of our resort area.
