The Affordable Housing Task Force will meet on Wednesday, August 9 at 8:30 a.m. at Williams Mullen - Town Center, 222 Central Park Ave., 17th floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. The task force will identify the affordable housing elements that we feel should be on the city’s priority list and/or included as part of their Comprehensive Plan update. The next Business Development Task Force meeting will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Williams Mullen - Town Center, 222 Central Park Avenue, 17th floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Virginia Wesleyan University, at the request of the city, has conducted an impact study on the proposed Kitty Hawk Wind project landing at Sandbridge. The September Board of Director’s will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Centura College's business offices on South Boulevard, near Mt. Trashmore – please look for the blue prism sculpture in the front (4455 South Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). There is a parking lot near the building entrance as well as ample street parking nearby. Dr. Don Robertson, Acting Superintendent, Virginia Beach City Public Schools, will be our guest speaker.
