Business Development Task Force members: The task force will meet on Wednesday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m. in the offices of Hourigan Construction (in the Fulton Bank Building), 4429 Bonney Road, Suite 200. On April 30, Virginia Beach City Council will vote on whether to allow for collective bargaining. There will be a meeting of the Education Task Force on Wednesday, May 15 at 9 a.m. in the Virginia Beach Economic Development offices, 4525 Main St, Suite 700. The focus of the meeting will be as follows: Review the conversation from the VB superintendent. Discuss if and how should VBV follow up to offer support. Discussion about what can be done to provide career and technical educational training and where the greatest needs exist. Whom would we like to hear from next?

Following the meeting there will be an informal social networking opportunity from 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Please plan to stay after if your schedule allows!
