There will be a VBV Membership Development Task Force meeting held on Monday, February 13th from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at Town Center Office Suites, One Columbus Center, 6th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. There will be a Resort Development Task Force meeting held on Wednesday, February 15 at 8:30 a.m. at Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, 17th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.  Kathy Warren, Interim Director Planning, City of Virginia Beach, and team will review the RAAMP report and Eric Keplinger, MEB will discuss the development plan for the Sports Center area. There will be a Joint VBV/GNC Resiliency Task Force meeting held on Wednesday, February 22 at 8:30 a.m. at Williams Mullen, 222 Central Park Avenue, 17th Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.  Ben McFarlane, HRPDC, will be our guest speaker and discuss regional efforts towards managing sea level rise/recurrent flooding from the funding and logistics perspective as well as initiatives within the region. He will share information regarding successful state and federal programs leveraged by localities, where there are opportunities for improvement, and what impediments need to be overcome as well as how VBV/GNC might strengthen and further a “regional approach” to address mitigation.
